We opened Caigo da Mar in early 2010 in the heart of the historical center of  Venice in the beautiful San Samuele area; still a very residential where many old palazzos are situated along the Grand Canal.

Caigo da Mar name came from the Venetian dialect “Caigo”, meaning mist or fog that covers the city during
the winter period, illustrating a secret side of Venice when you can see and you cannot.
Besides being a boutique, Caigo da Mar is also a studio from where we work together.

Our gallery has a luxurious atmosphere where we can directly work with our clients and present our varied activities and product categories; these include Italian furniture, luxurious Murano glass lighting, Venetian mirrors, home accessories and a small curated collection of our own Caigo da Mar products.

Our product selection process always keeps in mind the artisanal hand made quality, functionality
